Here is a mid 1600s chest ! Very nice carving on the front , this is fresh to the market never offered before was from a private collection , very good usable shape missing one return molding , the lid is original (a lot of them are not) this had cotter pin wrought pins you can see where they where , the put a reliable later added butt hinge on there for years more use ! , just imagine a piece like this the history, these make great benches in hallways , the construction is mortise and tennon simply wonderful 54 wide 21 deep and 29.5 are approximate
